Catalyze reactions (Quicken, Aggravate, Spread)
References:
- Dendro + Electro = Quicken
- Quicken deals no damage, it is an aura that decays over time
- Once Quicken exists ...
- Dendro/Electro
- Apply Dendro => Spread reaction
- Apply Electro => Aggravate reaction
- Spread and Aggravate do not consume the Quicken aura
- Pyro/Hydro
- Apply Pyro => Burning reaction
- Apply Hydro => Bloom reaction
- Burning and Bloom consume the Quicken aura
- Dendro/Electro
- Spread does more damage than Aggravate. Multipliers:
- Spread = 1.25
- Aggravate = 1.15
- Spread and Aggravate scale with character level
- TODO: From the wiki page it appears that Elemental Mastery also plays a role. Details are not clear, though.
- The 4-piece Thundering Fury artifact set increases Aggravate damage.
Swirl
References:
- Swirl occurs when applying Anemo to Pyro, Hydro, Electro or Cryo
- The damage dealt is of the type of the non-Anemo element
- Elemental Absorption is something different
- TODO: More details on the Combat page
Basics from SharkH3art video
- Elements come into contact => reaction
- Video describes reaction types and their basic effects
- It talks about 1.5 or 2.0 Pyro or Hydro or Cryo damage
- For Overload it says that the stats of the character who triggers the reaction are used, not the stats of the character who started the reaction.
- Electro-charged cannot crit. Electro has DoT.
