CDs that I want to get rid of

Jethro Tull
Albums that I have
- 1968 This Was
- 1969 Stand Up
- 1970 Benefit (copy; this seems to be a hybrid version between the original album and the 2001 release of Benefit [which contains 4 bonus tracks]: my copy contains only 10 tracks, as does the 1970 release, but these 10 tracks match the first 10 tracks of the 2001 release. Because the 2001 juggled around the track order somewhat, this means that my copy misses the song "Teacher" from the original 1970 release, but has the additional "Alive And Well And Living In" [which, originally, is on 1972 Living In the Past])
- 1971 Aqualung (actually this is the 25th anniversary special edition from 1996, wich was remastered with 20bit and adds 6 tracks to the original album)
- 1972 Living in the Past [Truncated] (the 3 tracks that were truncated from the original release are contained on other albums)
- 1972 Thick As a Brick
- 1973 A Passion Play
- 1974 War Child
- 1975 Minstrel in the Gallery
- 1976 Too Old to Rock 'N' Roll: Too Young to Die!
- 1977 Songs From the Wood
- 1978 Heavy Horses (copy)
- 1979 Stormwatch
- 1980 A
- 1982 The Broadsword and the Beast
- 1984 Under Wraps
- 1987 Crest of a Knave
- 1989 Rock Island
- 1991 Catfish Rising
- 1994 Nightcap: The Unreleased Masters 1973-1991
- 1995 Roots to Branches
- 1999 J-Tull Dot Com
Songs that I have
- Teacher (from 1976 M.U.: The Best Of Jethro Tull)
- Rainbow Blues (from 1976 M.U.: The Best Of Jethro Tull)
Studio albums that I miss
- 2003 The Jethro Tull Christmas Album
Live albums that I miss
- 1978 Bursting Out: Jethro Tull [Live] (contains 4 songs that appear on no other J-Tull album: Flute Solo Improvisation/God Rest Ye Merry, Conundrum, Quatrain, The Dambusters March/Medley)
Compilations that I miss
- 1977 Repeat: The Best of Jethro Tull, Vol. 2 (contains 1 track that is not on any other album that I have: Glory Row (can also be found on the 2002 release of War Child)
- 1988 20 Years of Jethro Tull (this 4 CD box contains a lot of songs (20+) that are either not available at all on other albums, or wildly distributed over various releases)
- 1993 The Beacons Bottom Tapes (a best-of compilation for J-Tull's 25th anniversary. Songs unique to this album: So Much Trouble, Cheerio (this track is something over 3 minutes, a track with the same name on "Broadsword And the Beast" is only 1 mnute), Jack-A-Lynn (the song appears on various other compiliations, the earliest being the "20 Years Of Jethro Tull" from 1988)
- 1993 The 25th Anniversary Boxed Set (CD 1+2: Live performances, CD 3: alternative versions of famous songs, CD 4: remixes of "classic" tracks. Contains 3 songs that can be found on no other J-Tull album: Guitar Solo, To Be Sad Is a Mad Way to Be, Passion Jig. Also contains the 3 songs that would make the 1993 compilation "The Beacons Bottom Tapes" worthwile. Also contains "Teacher")
- 1998 The Originals (contains remastered versions of This Was, Stand Up, and Benefit)
Albums that I don't need
- 1972 Living In the Past [Original Release] (the same album also exists in a truncated version; the original release version contains 3 more songs than the truncated version, however they are all contained on other albums: Bourée, Teacher, Locomotive Breath)

- 1985 Original Masters (all songs on this best-of compiliation can be found on other albums)

- 1997 The Ultimate Set (I have no information about this album, except that it appears on J-Tull's discography at www.allmusic.com; from the album review on allmusic.com it seems clear, however, that this is a collector's item with nothing on it that is not contained in other releases)
- 1998 Collection (all tracks contained on other albums)
- 1998 Through the Years (all tracks contained on other albums)
- 1999 Stand Up/Benefit (a simple budget release of 2 albums in one)
